Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms had a decently sized seating area with a pull-out bed for my son and a king-size bed in a separate room for me, which was nice. The view from the room was super quiet and offered a pleasant outlook towards 78th St However, the rooms, although beautiful, were not very spacious. The location was great for walks to Central Park and shopping on Madison Street; being just a block away from Central Park was a big plus. On the downside, the dining options were outrageously expensive, and the breakfast selection was limited. The service was friendly, especially at check-in and check-out, but the room ambience was a bit underwhelming.
The hotel is ideally located near Central Park with a spacious room layout. The service is friendly and accommodating, offering a range of convenient amenities. The location is fantastic for shopping, dining, and exploring nearby attractions. While the dining experience could be improved, the facilities are satisfactory.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and the service was fantastic, although it's not the cheapest option. This hotel will definitely be my go-to place whenever I'm in NYC.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel in NYC. The rooms are like apartments more than typical hotel rooms, large and very comfortable, with a nice view, full of amenities, and a marvelous bathroom. The service was exceptional, making my stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible. The location is superb, adjacent to and overlooking Central Park, perfect for trips to nearby museums, shopping on Madison Avenue, and enjoying fantastic restaurants. The dining experience was exquisite, especially with the real Italian espresso. Overall, this hotel is my top choice in NYC, despite a minor hiccup with the breakfast options.
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The room overlooking the leafy street in New York's posh Upper East Side was very pleasant and elegant, although it could have been larger for three adults. The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly and attentive, from the bellman to the reservation manager leaving a special surprise for my daughter's birthday. The location was perfect, near central park and away from big crowds, giving me easy access to galleries and shops. However, the dining experience was a bit lacking in quality and organization, with overpriced options and unprofessional service.
As parents, the room was a thing of beauty with very comfortable beds and an amazing bathroom. The hotel's location is superb, close to Central Park and within walking distance of The Met and fabulous shopping. The service was excellent with staff on top of their game throughout my stay. Dining options were okay, but not at the level expected from a hotel with such an excellent reputation. The facilities were great, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel rooms were clean, large, and beautifully appointed with conveniences expected from a 5-star property. However, the absence of a comfortable chair for TV viewing and a windowless lounge area made the space feel somewhat cramped. The full kitchen was a massive plus.
The hotel rooms feel more like apartments than typical hotel rooms, quiet, well-appointed, and spacious but had to change rooms after 2 sleepless nights. The service was very professional and helpful, although there were some lapses in personalized care. The location is excellent, full of shops and coffee shops in a prime area of busy New York. The dining experience, while offering a real Italian espresso like in Milano, could be improved to meet the hotel's reputation. Despite these points, the facilities were top-notch.
For our anniversary celebration, we chose this hotel on Madison Avenue, despite the slightly noisy rooms due to large air conditioning units outside. The location is wonderful for those seeking a quieter stay away from big crowds, near iconic museums and fantastic dining options.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were clean, large, beautifully appointed, and had all conveniences one would expect from a 5-star hotel. The service was super helpful in making all the arrangements we required during our stay. The location is fantastic, right near lots of amazing shopping and restaurants. However, the dining experience was a bit of a shock due to being overpriced and lacking professionalism.
The hotel is my go-to place in NYC with gorgeous toiletries and very large, comfortable, and beautiful rooms. The service stands out as the most notable difference, with friendly and professional staff offering various amenities. The location brings warmth to your trip, close to Central Park and with a view full of amenities. The dining experience is average, and the facilities are modern and convenient.
My stay at the hotel was incredible. The rooms were big, extremely comfortable, with a huge wardrobe, and a very comfortable bed. The service was fantastic, with lovely staff from Housekeeping, Room Service, and the Front Desk. The location is superb, just one block from Central Park. The dining experience was globally inspired, but a bit overpriced with some service issues. Overall, a wonderful experience with a few minor drawbacks.
Staying at the hotel was a mix of delights and disappointments. The spacious rooms, although lacking a view, offered a cozy ambiance with a windowless sitting area, overlooking a leafy street in the Upper East Side. The location was fantastic for exploring Central Park and nearby museums, yet the dining experience fell short of expectations.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were modern, clean, and quiet, providing a perfect retreat in New York's upscale Upper East Side. The service was a mix of excellence and occasional lapses. The location was superb, offering easy access to Central Park, art galleries, and upscale dining. The dining experience was decent but could use some improvement. The facilities added value to the stay, making it a well-rounded experience.
I stayed at the hotel which offers small rooms with no comfortable chair to sit and watch TV; located on the third floor overlooking the leafy street in New York's posh Upper East Side. The service was exceptionally engaged & friendly, from the front desk to the maid. The location is superb, just half a block from Central Park, within a 10-minute walk to The Met and other galleries, excellent for a hangout in NYC. The dining experience was not so elegant and did not change daily, falling short of the hotel's excellent reputation. The facilities are decent but could use some improvement.
