THE MARK NEW YORK CITY, New York City – A Smart Stay in the City

As parents, the room was a thing of beauty with very comfortable beds and an amazing bathroom. The hotel's location is superb, close to Central Park and within walking distance of The Met and fabulous shopping. The service was excellent with staff on top of their game throughout my stay. Dining options were okay, but not at the level expected from a hotel with such an excellent reputation. The facilities were great, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The hotel rooms were clean, large, and beautifully appointed with conveniences expected from a 5-star property. However, the absence of a comfortable chair for TV viewing and a windowless lounge area made the space feel somewhat cramped. The full kitchen was a massive plus.

The hotel rooms feel more like apartments than typical hotel rooms, quiet, well-appointed, and spacious but had to change rooms after 2 sleepless nights. The service was very professional and helpful, although there were some lapses in personalized care. The location is excellent, full of shops and coffee shops in a prime area of busy New York. The dining experience, while offering a real Italian espresso like in Milano, could be improved to meet the hotel's reputation. Despite these points, the facilities were top-notch.

For our anniversary celebration, we chose this hotel on Madison Avenue, despite the slightly noisy rooms due to large air conditioning units outside. The location is wonderful for those seeking a quieter stay away from big crowds, near iconic museums and fantastic dining options.

I stayed at the hotel which offers small rooms with no comfortable chair to sit and watch TV; located on the third floor overlooking the leafy street in New York's posh Upper East Side. The service was exceptionally engaged & friendly, from the front desk to the maid. The location is superb, just half a block from Central Park, within a 10-minute walk to The Met and other galleries, excellent for a hangout in NYC. The dining experience was not so elegant and did not change daily, falling short of the hotel's excellent reputation. The facilities are decent but could use some improvement.
